Pavilion
The Pavilion is suitable for a wide range of events, e.g. private parties, public meetings, charitable and fundraising events, child-based activities, keep-fit and dance classes, lectures, quiz nights, bridge competitions, weddings, christenings and corporate events. The facility can be hired hourly or for longer periods.
There is a fully-equipped commercial kitchen and the hall can accommodate 100+ people seated. It is fully licensed for public entertainment and benefits from wifi.
There are changing rooms and shower facilities for sports teams. Parking is available directly outside the Pavilion and also adjacent to the Tennis Courts.

Playing Field
The field area is well-used for football in the winter season and cricket in the summer. There are 2 tennis courts on the playing field, which are run by the Newton Poppleford Tennis Club. Community events are held on the playing field from time to time, including an annual “Fun Day” , bonfire night and music events.
The pitches are used by the Sidmouth Town Junior Vikings during the football season and the Sidmouth, Exmouth and Newton Poppleford cricket clubs in the summer. In the school holidays the Pavilion and Playing Fields host the Exeter City Community Trust Summer Holiday Courses.
There is a Dog Control Order that places a total ban on all dogs using the Playing Field. The field is well-used by children playing, and cricket and football teams, so the dog ban is in place to protect all human users from the potential adverse health effects of skin contact with dog faeces. The Dog Warden is authorised to prosecute those who infringe this bylaw.
